In short, don’t expect modular homes in Florida to get the same leeway as Texas — you and your team will have to research what you can get away with.
All told, “most of the modular house plans Clayton builds range from 1,500 to 2,200 square feet and include three to four bedrooms,” Mr. Powell said.
Do modular houses come in different styles?

How long does it take to build a modular house?
Modular houses are built in half or even a third of the time of conventional buildings, much faster than conventionally built houses might take.
“Because houses are built on assembly lines, all the different construction industries are in one place, so a house can be completed in as little as two days,” Powell said. “Land preparation and foundation work can go hand in hand. This could shave months off the typical on-site construction process.
